CSI, Inc. bridges the gap between those services offered by traditional caregivers, such as nurses or social workers, and professional advisors, such as accountants or attorneys.

Fees

Although we charge a fee for our services, we are a nonprofit agency. We do our best to provide services to people who need help. We try to keep our fees relatively modest and will try to work out a sliding scale when needed.
 

Convenience Services

Besides Financial and Protective services, CSI volunteers also provide assistance with:

• Bill paying
• Bank account reconciliation
• Budget counseling
• Bill negotiation
• Mail sorting
• Record keeping
• Health insurance filing
• Public entitlement applications

CSI, Inc. can serve as:

• Guardian of the Property (appt. by the court)
• Personal Representative (appt. by the court)
• Representative Payee (appt. by Social Security Administration)
• Custodian (appt. by VA)
• Power of Attorney

An individual's problems with money management may often lead to physical and/or mental problems which, in turn, may lead to a finding of incapacity and the appointment of a guardian. By ensuring the availability of funds to the individual, money management services offer a less restrictive alternative to guardianship.
